Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all paid plans and pay-as-you-go usage of DivyAstroAPI, operated by DIVY GURU VEDIC RESEARCH. By subscribing to a paid plan or making a payment, you agree to the terms below.

1. Free plan and trial credits

Our Free plan and trial credits do not involve any payment. There is nothing to refund or cancel — you can stop using the Service at any time.

2. Cancelling a subscription

  • You can cancel any active monthly or yearly subscription at any time from your dashboard under Billing → Subscription.
  • On cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period — you continue to have access to your paid quota until that date.
  • Once cancelled, the subscription will not auto-renew. Your account automatically reverts to the Free plan after the paid period ends.

3. Refund eligibility

3.1 Monthly subscriptions

  • Within 7 days of first purchase: Full refund if you have used less than 10% of your plan's monthly quota. Email support@divyastroapi.com with your account email and order ID to request a refund.
  • After 7 days, or after >10% usage: Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel auto-renewal, and your access will continue until the end of the paid period.

3.2 Yearly subscriptions

  • Within 14 days of first purchase: Full refund if you have used less than 10% of the annual quota.
  • After 14 days: Pro-rata refund for the unused months of the annual subscription, calculated from the date we receive your cancellation request. Used overage and add-ons are non-refundable.

3.3 Pay-as-you-go usage

Pay-as-you-go charges are based on actual API calls already served. Once a request has been processed, the corresponding charge is non-refundable, except in the cases listed in section 4 below.

3.4 Enterprise contracts

Enterprise contracts are governed by the refund and termination terms in your signed order form or master services agreement, which override this section where applicable.

4. When we will refund regardless of the above

  • Duplicate / accidental charges: Full refund within 5–10 business days of confirmation.
  • Documented service outage: If your eligible plan's monthly uptime falls below the SLA threshold, the corresponding service credits are applied automatically (or refunded on request).
  • Unauthorised charge: If you believe a charge was made without your authorisation, contact us immediately so we can investigate and reverse it where appropriate.

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund, send an email to support@divyastroapi.com with:

  • The email address registered on your DivyAstroAPI account.
  • Your order / invoice ID (visible on the receipt or in Billing → Invoices).
  • The reason for the refund request.

We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and to process approved refunds within 7–10 business days. The refunded amount is returned to the original payment method. Bank or card processor timelines for the amount to reflect in your account are outside our control and may add a few additional business days.

6. Taxes

Refunded amounts are net of any non-recoverable transaction fees. Where GST or other taxes were collected, the tax component is refunded in accordance with applicable Indian tax law.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — most billing concerns are resolved faster by email. Accounts subject to a chargeback may be suspended pending investigation.
